Burstone Manor is a stone-built Victorian manor house, set in three acres of
gardens and paddocks, in the heart of rural mid-Devon, yet only thirty minutes drive
from Exeter with its International Airport.
There is easy access to the superb walking country of the Dartmoor and Exmoor
National Parks, as well as the coasts of north and south Devon and west Cornwall.
Go south and you are on the English Riviera with its beautiful palm trees and north
to the Devon north coast towns of Lynton and Lynmouth also known as 'Little
Switzerland'. A short drive to Exmoor and you are in 'Lorna Doone' country
Accommodation
We welcome individuals, families and groups, and can accommodate up to 50
guests, in a variety of rooms that include twins, doubles, family rooms and multi
bedded rooms. All rooms have wash basins and other facilities are close at hand.
Good home cooking is a feature of the centre and with special diets catered for.
Small conferences are a speciality. We can cater for up to 70 on a day conference.
Also up to 50 residential and extra numbers in local B&B. The local B&B has to be
arrange by the conference organiser or their delegates. We can provide a list of
nearby B&B.
At this time we regret there are no disabled facilities but we are working on it so
watch this space.
We have a games room for table tennis and a pool table for those groups with
young people and the young at heart.
